As far as cuctomization goes nothing beats an android. Applekeeps everything of a proprietory nature so you can only do what they allow you to do.

They are kind if hard to compare. Apple has the most apps to use, and the most free ones. android is loved by many, I used to have an android operated phone, but one I'm all apple
