Texting Notification?

If you're just trying to see if you have received a text, look for an envelope near the bottom of the screen. It probably says "Messaging". Unread text messages are usually in bold while ones you have already read are in regular text.

If you're trying to set up a notification tone to tell you when a new text message arrives, go into "Settings" and look for "Sound". If you don't see it right away, you may need to select "My Device", then find "Sound" from there. Next, look for "Notification Sound". Set the sound you want and your device will make that sound every time you receive a text message or MMS.

Lastly, if you want to set a specific tone for when one of your contacts sends you a text or MMS message, you will need to go into "Contacts", then edit the contact you want to set up the tone for. Hope this helps!
