According to the Asurion "Terms and Conditions" The Insured is limited to 2 losses in any consecutive 12 month time period. Therefore, you should be able to file a claim for a replacement phone just as you did when you filed the first claim. However, you will not be allowed to file a new claim until the 12 months expire.

Please note: Asurion may, or may not, request the following, as this will be considered your second claim within a short period of time from the date your first claim was filed.

  • Asurion may ask for you to complete and sign an "Affidavit", explaining how the cellular phone was lost.
  • If you made a police report (which is very helpful), this may be requested by Asurion, so you should keep the police report in a safe place (for a minimum of 30 days) should Asurion request this.

Hope this helps
