Replacements

Hi, I filed a replacement for my stolen phone and received it I believe in January, well the replacement phone was recently stolen as well. Can i file another claim or am I limited. This time a police report was filed and I do have a case number.

According to the Asurion "Terms and Conditions" The Insured is limited to 2 losses in any consecutive 12 month time period. Therefore, you should be able to file a claim for a replacement phone just as you did when you filed the first claim. However, you will not be allowed to file a new claim until the 12 months expire.

Please note: Asurion may, or may not, request the following, as this will be considered your second claim within a short period of time from the date your first claim was filed.

Asurion may ask for you to complete and sign an "Affidavit", explaining how the cellular phone was lost.
If you made a police report (which is very helpful), this may be requested by Asurion, so you should keep the police report in a safe place (for a minimum of 30 days) should Asurion request this.
