14 Months Old; Just Serviced And Found Some Oil On The Garage Floor

I purchased the car new 14 months ago. It is thw quattro sport model. Late October; I took the car in for maintenance to the dealer and everything was fine. Last weekend we had the coldest weather in a 130 years - there was a small oil spot on the garage floor - my husband found it late Saturday and he was flying out for 3 months - he said I shoukd take it in and get it checked out - they will give me a loaner - everything is under warranty too but it is just so inconvenient to get to the sealer because they koved. It used to be 5-10 minutes in traffic and now it is about 30 mins. Has anyone had this experience with an Audi or Audi A3 quattro turbo sport? What would you recommend? Since it has moderated temperature-wise i have not noticed any oil in the garage or driveway - Any advice would be very appreciated - thanks P.

Since you mentioned the extreme cold that is probably the culprit. Metal like most things contracts(gets smaller) in cold conditions. The most likely leak point is either the oil filter or the oil pan plug. I suggest you just keep checking after your drive sessions for the leak to return, if it doesn't you're ok. Good luck!
