In Feb 2016 I will begin receiving Medicare insurance. Is anything required to cancel my current insurance when Medicare begins?AnnCroninCASACHI

Yes, unless you want both. You must cancel your other insurance if you don't want it. If you have both, one or the other will pay first, up to its coverage limits. After that one pays, the second coverage will kick in for whatever its obligation may be for the balance. The rules regarding which will pay first are laid out at Medicare & You, at page 29.
