Water Hardness

please could someone advise how to set the water hardness on my beko dishwasher, model dfc04210b. I have been using the dishwasher for a couple of months now and it has never cleaned my pots properly (always leave coffee stains and water marks), so after looking on the internet, found youre supposed to set the water hardness level, however this is not proving easy. Please help
