How Do You Dismantle The Loading Door To Replace A Broken Catch?

I've a Beko DTGC tumble dryer and the loading door catch has broken. I've removed the door (removing two screws) and the three screws near the door hinge. However, there don't appear to be any other fixations (no other screws), and I am concerned about damaging the door if I try levering the two parts of the door apart. Any advice appreciated.

If the loading door catch on your Beko DTGC tumble dryer has broken, you may need to dismantle the door to replace the catch. Here are some general steps that may help you to do this safely:
  1. Remove the door from the dryer by removing the two screws that are holding it in place.
  2. Locate the three screws near the door hinge and remove them.
  3. Carefully inspect the door for any other fixations, such as clips or snaps, that may be holding the two parts of the door together.
  4. Once you have removed all of the screws and fixations, try gently prying the two parts of the door apart using a plastic pry tool or a flat-head screwdriver wrapped in a cloth to avoid damaging the door.

It's important to note that every tumble dryer model is different, and the process might vary, be sure to consult the manufacturer's manual for specific instructions. If you're not comfortable with dismantling the door, you should consider hiring a professional technician to help you with the repair.
