Hello Sir,

Please try following

ShareHow to fix a washing machine that won't spin? How to fix a washing machine that won't spin?

Your appliance needs to spin its drum to mix and clean the load. The drum will also spin (but faster) while water is being extracted from clothes. If the drum won't spin at all, see if one of the following will solve the problem.

Check that the door is closed properly

If your washing machine detects that its door is open, it won't start functioning. Make sure that the door is firmly shut. Remove items that get caught in the door and push it closed until you hear a locking sound.

Make sure the load is evenly distributed

Laundry that's unevenly distributed inside the drum might cause damage to your washing machine. To prevent this, Beko washing machines will automatically inspect the load and stop the spinning process if it's distributed unevenly inside the drum.

Absorbent items such as rugs and blankets are generally the cause. To avoid unbalanced loads, wash bulky items like blankets with at least one other heavy item like a big towel or another blanket. If the drum stops spinning mid-cycle, try stopping the machine, draining the water and rearranging the laundry.

Avoid using too much detergent

You might be using too much detergent or an inappropriate type for your appliance. In this case, your washing machine will stop the spinning cycle and try to absorb the excess foam in its drum. Read the instructions on the detergent packaging to find out if it's the right type for your washing machine. Make sure that you're using no more than the recommended dose.

See if there's water left in the drum

The spinning cycle won't start if the water hasn't drained completely. Turn off your washing machine and check the drain hose and the pump filter. The hose shouldn't be bent or clogged. Unclog or straighten it if necessary. Replace leaking, punctured or rusted hoses. Clean your drain pump every three months to avoid clogging.

Check the drive belt for damage

Open the door and try turning the drum with your hand. If it turns with no resistance at all, your washing machine's drive belt may be damaged or broken. In this case, please contact an authorised service agent.

Consider technical failure

Your washing machine might have stopped due to an electrical spike. Unplug your appliance, wait for a minute and then plug it back in. Try starting the programme again. If the problem continues, your washing machine might have a technical problem. If you suspect this to be the case, contact an authorised service agent.

The load in the washing machine may not be evenly distributed. This can happen if you mix heavy garments, such as towels, with lighter items of clothing. It is not possible for the washing machine to achieve full speed when this happens. If an out of balance load is detected, the washing machine will try to re-distribute the load itself and this can take time. If only a few items are washed it may not be possible for the washing machine to reach full spin. You can solve this by adding more garments to subsequent cycles. If the filter is blocked, it can stop your Beko washing machine from spinning. To unblock your filter please refer to your instruction or download the manual here https//www.beko.co.uk/support/manuals
