How To Remove The Face Plate

Need to remove face plate of Bernina 817 or at least open it wider, as I need to replace screw and long narrow plate with oval hole and the screw I loosened the needle bar with. This happened because I am trying fix the presser foot as the lever is loose and doesnt do anything.
