What Does The Fuse(1.25amp 250volt) Look L I Believe It's Called The "f1"
what does the fuse(1.25amp 250Volt) look like? I believe it's called the "F1" fuse. The 110 ac outlets don't work on my Black and Decker portable power station PPRH5B

Locate the fuse that is labeled F1,
Cut the wire into one 10" piece and one 8"piece.
Strip about 1/4" of wire form each end.
Solder one wire to each end of the fuse. which is in the blue box
It is ok if some solder or wire touches the diode in the brown box as they are connected by the PCB underneath, I found out the hard way after undoing my connection to check

This is a youtube video on a black&decker power unit repair. I cannot emphasise enough about replacing a fuse with one of the same type. These are fitted for safety in the event of a short circuit or faulty power supply. Short circuiting a fuse with wire is not advisable. Most modern units have 20mm fuses but some older items have 1" fuses. A general search of the internet will give results of the fuses available. Always buy 2 so if that one blows you still have a spare.
