Missing Phone Icon

When I switch on my phone, an HTC desire 510, I expect to see a phone icon to enable me to make calls. I do not see a phone icon nor do I see a dialing pad. Please advise

Hi. The one on the first home screen is just an icon that can be customized or remove. To place it again, tap on the App drawer touch button (one with four shaded squares like this : : > Swipe until you find the phone app > press and hold on it until you are taken to the home screen with the icon on your finger tip. Upon withdrawing your finger, the icon should be placed. Let us know it you still require further assistance.
