How Long Should It Take For Boost Mobile To Fix A Frequency Problem?

I joined Boost Mobile in Aug. 2010 and in Dec. of that year. I have had 1 week out of the month without able to make a call and now it is getting to not being to text and get texts. I heard that they are up grading to 4G. So when will I get what I am paying for back in my hands? I need my phone service.
