Yahoo Im Is No Longer Working On My Phone..

I have been on the phone with Boost Mobile Customer Care Support many times now during August 2012 because my Yahoo IM is not working..when I get all the way into it after clicking on Yahoo Messenger and clicking on the sign in page and then it shows connecting to Yahoo, my phone then goes totally dead and then after a few seconds, comes back on and am back on my home page....they keep telling me my phone is working just fine and they have refreshed my phone from their end and have re-programmed my phone from my end and still cannot access Yahoo IM..I have had no problems for almost 2 yrs now but this issue is still not resolved...I have used my Yahoo IM a lot and need this so much to keep in contact with my Husband who is overseas currently...they have even transferred me to Technical Support and was told there was nothing they could do...when the phone goes dead there is a message that says "system error, wait until your phone recovers"..Please help resolve this issue.
