I Have An Htc Phone That I Was Paying An Insurance On Through My Phone Company

I have an HTC phone that I was paying insurance on for a year the phone started to give me trouble I paid insurance through my phone company when I brought it to my phone company to pay my bill and to fix my phone they did not cover the damages that was done to the phone I found out east to see how his own insurance even though I was paying insurance to my phone company how do I get reimbursed the money I was paying for insurance when there was insurance on the phone to begin with
