Based on the description, it sounds like there is a problem with the clutch in the grinder head. The clutch is responsible for transferring power from the motor to the grinding wheel. If the clutch is slipping, it will cause the grinding wheel to spin slowly or even stop altogether.

There are a few possible reasons why the clutch might be slipping:

The clutch may be worn out. Over time, the friction material on the clutch plates can wear down, causing them to slip.

The clutch may be dirty or contaminated. If the clutch plates are dirty or contaminated with grease or oil, it can cause them to slip.

The clutch may be improperly adjusted. If the clutch is not adjusted correctly, it can cause it to slip.

To fix the problem, you will need to remove the grinder head and inspect the clutch. If the clutch plates are worn out, they will need to be replaced. If the clutch plates are dirty or contaminated, they will need to be cleaned and degreased. If the clutch is not adjusted correctly, it will need to be adjusted according to the manufacturer's instructions.

If you are not comfortable working on the grinder yourself, you should take it to a qualified repair shop.

Here are some additional troubleshooting tips:

Make sure that the grinder is properly lubricated. Check the owner's manual for specific lubrication instructions.

Check the grinding wheel for cracks or other damage. If the grinding wheel is damaged, it should be replaced.

Make sure that the grinding wheel is properly installed. The grinding wheel should be tight against the spindle, but not so tight that it is difficult to turn.

Try using a different grinding wheel. If the problem persists, it is possible that the motor is faulty and needs to be replaced.
