Yes, the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers can work with the Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver. However, it is important to make sure that the receiver has the appropriate inputs to connect the speakers. The Yamaha TSR-7850 has spring clip speaker terminals that accept bare wire connections. If the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers have spring clip connectors or bare wire connections, then you should be able to connect them to the Yamaha TSR-7850 without issue. If the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers use a different type of connector, such as banana plugs or spade connectors, you may need an adapter to make the connection.

The Bose Lifestyle 48 home theater system comes with its own proprietary Acoustimass module and media center, which are designed to work together as a complete system. While it is technically possible to connect the speakers from the Bose Lifestyle 48 to a different receiver such as the Yamaha TSR-7850, it may not be an ideal setup and may require additional equipment and modifications.

The Bose Lifestyle 48 system uses a proprietary speaker connection that is not compatible with the standard speaker wire terminals found on most other receivers. Therefore, in order to connect the Bose speakers to the Yamaha TSR-7850, you would need to use a compatible speaker adapter or modification that can convert the Bose proprietary connector to a standard speaker wire connection.

Additionally, the Bose Lifestyle 48 system is designed to work specifically with the Bose media center, which controls the processing and distribution of the audio signals to the individual speakers. If you were to use the Bose speakers with a different receiver, you may not be able to take full advantage of the system's capabilities, and the sound quality may not be as good as it would be with the original Bose media center.

In summary, while it may be possible to connect the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers to a Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver, it may not be the most ideal or straightforward setup, and may require additional equipment and modifications. It's recommended to consult with a professional audio technician or contact Bose and Yamaha customer support for further assistance with compatibility and setup.

Yes, it is possible to connect Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers to a Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver. However, it's important to make sure that the receiver and speakers are compatible with each other in terms of their impedance and power handling capabilities.

The Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver has a power output of up to 95 watts per channel into 8 ohms, which should be enough to drive the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers. The Lifestyle 48 speakers are rated at 4-8 ohms impedance and have a maximum power handling capacity of 200 watts. So in terms of power and impedance, the Yamaha receiver should work well with the Bose speakers.

To connect the speakers to the receiver, you will need speaker wire and the appropriate speaker connectors to attach the wire to the speakers and the receiver. Simply connect the speaker wire from the speaker outputs on the Yamaha receiver to the corresponding speaker inputs on the Bose speakers. Make sure to match the polarity of the wires correctly, so the positive and negative terminals on the speakers and receiver are connected correctly.

Overall, as long as you make sure the impedance and power handling specifications are compatible, the Bose Lifestyle 48 speakers should work well with the Yamaha TSR-7850 receiver.
