Bose Tp-a1 Model Earphones With Macbook Pro Not Working

try using this headphones with MacBook Pro & it has no sound whereas using it with any other device, the headphones sound great! try using other headphones with MacBook Pro & sounds do come through.   What am i doing wrong?
