If your Belgian Hi Power military contract pistol has a non-threaded lanyard stud that has been mushroomed, you may have difficulty finding a replacement stud that is identical to the original. It is possible that you may need to have the original stud removed and a new, threaded stud installed by a qualified gunsmith. Alternatively, you could try contacting the manufacturer of your Hi Power pistol or a gun parts supplier to see if they have any non-threaded lanyard studs available. It may also be possible to find a lanyard stud that is similar to the original but not exactly the same. In any case, it is important to make sure that any replacement parts you use are compatible with your Hi Power pistol and are installed properly to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the gun.
