The serial number and model number of a Bushnell 78-9930 telescope are usually located in one of two places:

Under the base: If your telescope has a base, the serial and model numbers may be located on a sticker or plaque on the underside of the base.

Underneath the main telescope tube: The serial and model numbers may also be located on a sticker or plaque on the underside of the main telescope tube, near the objective lens.

If you can't find the serial and model numbers in either of these locations, you can contact Bushnell customer service for assistance.

Here are some additional tips for finding the serial and model numbers of your Bushnell telescope:

Use a flashlight to inspect the underside of the base and the telescope tube. The serial and model numbers may be small and difficult to see, so good lighting is helpful.

If you have the telescope manual, the serial and model numbers may be listed in the manual.

If you bought the telescope used, the previous owner may have written the serial and model numbers down somewhere. Check the telescope case or packaging for any notes or documentation.

Once you have found the serial and model numbers of your telescope, you can use them to look up information about the telescope on the Bushnell website or to contact Bushnell customer service for assistance.

If you don't have the manual, where the serial and model numbers woudl be located, the six-digit model number is usually located under the base (if your telescope has a base) and underneath the main telescope tube, so check in those locations, handling the telescope carefully.
