Lost Connection

My Bushnell Hunt FXi has worked perfectly for quite some time. The past week it has apparently lost connection to the server. I no longer get accurate temperatures and forecasts are non-existent. How do I go about resetting the software? Uninstall and reinstall? This is a problem with the PC software, not the device itself.

I noticed the same thing with my Bushnell Weather FXi 7-day internet forecaster (almost the same thing as the Hunt FXi, only just more general info). I tried uninstalling the software (and even removed the program files) and reinstalled it (even tried installing the software on a different PC), all to no avail. Unfortunately, after an email and a call to Bushnell and an email to Accuweather (who feeds the data to the software), I found out that Accuweather is no longer providing a data feed to Bushnell devices.

I really have enjoyed my Weather FXi, particularly the color-changing screen where I can tell from a glance across the room what the approximate temp outside is. I even asked Bushnell if it would be possible to change the software code to ping the Accuweather website (which obviously has the information available for free). I was told that wasn't advised, but also in my call to Bushnell, they mentioned that a LOT of people were calling to complain about the data stream being shut off.

Hopefully someone out there can either change the code in the existing software or write new software that gathers the data directly from Accuweather's website (or another reliable weather website). I just know that I'm not the smart guy who can make that happen. Perhaps if enough people complain to Bushnell and Accuweather, they will reverse course (but I doubt it). The worst part is that there was no announcement or warning that this was going to happen.
