Connecting A New 6.0 Phone To Cable Phone Service
I am replacing my old Panosonic KXTG 2740 wireless. I run it through my home lines with Cablevison which I also use for Internet. I have tried three 6.o digital phones now (Panosonic and now VTech) In all cases replacing the base unit with the new phone and disconnecting the old phones I do not get any dial tone. If however I plug the new base unit into the modem directly, I do get a dial tone. What is the probem as my old system works through the house lines just fine
