The difference is that the B002 is the standard US model Canon 24-105 mm lens. The B006 model is what is often referred to as Gray Market or Direct Import, it was made for the international market but it is being sold in the US. Gray Market Lenses come without a fancy box, and supposedly Canon will not honor the warranty, but I have read that Canon usually does honor the warranty. The Gray Market lens tends to be $200-300 cheaper than the normal lens. Physically there is no difference between the lenses.
