Can I Use The Printer Without Installing Software. Copying Pictures Etc

Greetings. Yes to copying but no to scan and printing. Do note that you download the software free from the internet.

Hello,
You may be able to copy but scanning and printing requires a connection between the printer and an operating system (ie: computer, laptop, etc) with the printer driver installed for the 2 devices to communicate.
If the reason you are asking is due to not having the installation disc for your printer, you can download this driver free-of-charge at the Canon Support website, or by clicking here.
Once at the link, choose which operatiing systen you have from the dropdown menu to download the appropriate driver. Then just follow the prompts to install onto your device.
