Why Doesn't My Answering Machine Work?
Ever since I switched from Time Warner to Century Link my answering machine has not worked. I have Century Prism and Internet service as well. I've had no problem with them. What do I need to do to get my answering machine to work? I had the answering machine before I switched to Time Warner phone Service. I don't understand why it won't work with Century Link? Tell me what to do. Thank you!

In all likelyhood your centurylink voicemail (which is not yet setup) is picking up before your answering machine. Call your own phone # from your phone, and setup your voicemail, then set the number of rings to greater than your answering machine is set to. This way you have call waiting voicemail, and your normal answering machine voicemail.
