My Chamberlain Pd612ev Started To Not Go Down Using The Remotes.

A few days ago it stopped going down. It starts to go down but then reverses itself. I cleaned the electric eyes and there is no debris between them. I replaced the batteries in my remotes. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I tried to have it "learn" again. When I push the down button on the back of the unit it goes down. It goes back up using the remotes, but just won't go down properly using them. Is there anything else I can try before calling a repairman?
