I suggest that you send a certified snailmail to the company, giving them a reasonable time (say 10 days) in which to respond. Then if you don't receive satisfaction you will want to dispute the charge with AmEx, taking care to observe its time limits, which you can learn by phone. Here's Classmates's address:
