How To Change My Account Status

How can I change my account from "Gold" status back to regular membership for which I would not have to be charged $15/month? And, if I do, will I be charged anyway for membership fees of $15/month for the rest of this year?

The first thing you need to do is to log into your Classmates.com/Memory Lane account and change your payment type from automatic to MANUAL by going to RENEWAL OPTIONS. This in theory will prevent the regular charges to your credit card. Don't forget to SAVE/CONFIRM that change.

You'll continue to receive full Gold membership benefits until the end of the current term. At that time, your Gold membership will simply expire and revert to free status (unless you choose to manually renew). As a free member, you'll still be listed on the Classmates website and receive email notifications about your account activity.

You might have to do is to contact Classmates.com nka Memory Lane about a change in the status of your membership since apparently you still wish to use their services. But do not do this until you have rechecked your payment options the following month and your credit card statement. You want to make sure that your renewal settings are still set to manual which disables automatic billing.

If you receive notification from Memory Lane, Inc or see another charge, contact the company immediately.
