Charged Again
Why was I charged another three months when before my subscription was due I emailed customer service and told them not to renew my subscription and I received an answer saying I would not be charged again and my subscription would be cancelled but I was charged $20 and a few cents on my credit card.I want this removed and my name taken off your mailing listNOW.

If, as you say, in response to your request you were assured in writing of the cancellation, that should certainly be sufficient. I suggest you save that assurance and dispute the charge with your bank. There have been many similar issues with Classmates.

You can also complain to the Washington State's Consumer Protection Division at 1125 Washington St. SE, Olympia, WA 98504--or phone 206-464-6684.
