I'm truly sorry for your problems. but I don't think you expect us at Help Owl to tell you "why." Except in the most extreme situations this is considered unacceptable on the part of any phone rep. Another possibility is that it was not really a hang up by the rep but an inadvertent action by its phone service (and that does actually happen from time to time).
