Coby 7042 Poor Wifi Signal

I have 2 routers from 2 different internet suppliers at home.all my laptops ..mobiles can access both routers with very good sinal ..except my coby 7042 ..it barely can access one of them..and its obvious through the wifi signal that its all grey..anything that I can do to improve signal ????

I had a Coby 1042 and the WIFI was TERRIBLE. I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. A couple weeks later the tablet just stopped working. Sen it back to Coby and they gave me a replacement which was their newest model 1045 and that one has been working great so far.
