Mankind went from large vinyl records and phonographs to digital files and iPods in a little over a century. Needless to say, MP3s revolutionized the way we listen to music. Portable media players such as Apple's iPod or the Microsoft Zune allow people to take large libraries of music with them anywhere. While having the ability to listen to your music anytime and anywhere is great, sometimes singing along makes it that much better. By adding lyrics to your MP3 player, you can sing along to any of your songs whenever you please.

Start Windows Media Player.

Click "Media Library" to view your MP3 file

Right-click the track you want to add lyrics to, and click on "Properties."

Click on the "Lyrics" tab, and then copy and paste the lyrics you want to add to the track.

Click on the track you have added lyrics to in order to play. To display the lyrics, point to "Now Playing Tools" under the "View" menu, and then click on "Lyrics."
