Difficulty Opening Emails

 I just installed a new HP computer with Windows 7. . My internet server is through Frontier DSL. I use Internet Explorer for web access as I had done so in the past with my old HP. I do have a Compuserve account for many years. When I go to www.cs.com and open up my email I am able to see all the messages, am able to delete unwanted emails and mark those as "spam" as necesary. However, when I try to open up an email I wish to read sometimes the email address line goes to a blue color on only a portion of it. Once in a while I am able to open up the emails, but it is frustrating when most of the time nothing happens. What can I do to correct this?
