While this might not be the answer you wanted, it is all we can tell you.

Since you have reached HelpOwl and not United Airlines (Continental was separate before the merger) there is little that can be done.

If a flight is missed on a non-refundable ticket. The no-show simply loses the money. 

If the airline is notified prior to flight time, there may be a partial refund available.

If a flight was missed and there is a need need to rebook, please contact Reservations using the information on this page.
