How Can I Speak To Someone,i'm Always On Hold

I have called continental many times and I am always kept on hold for more than 1/2 hr each time and nobody is available to answer. I feel customers are important only when they purchace a ticket. I wanted to make sure my sister's and mine miles were recorded for our flit #270 leaving SFO for Boston on April 6th 2012.
