Listings on Craigslist are posted by parties holding accounts not by the people at Craigslist offices.

Do they screen and monitor? Difficult to do and judging from the number of complaints, problably little is done.

All that we can suggest is that you both phone the Craigslist office and also send a complaint email. 1-800-664-0633 ext 5583 Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm PST. Their email is [email protected]

After that, there may be other steps you wish to take.
