Something Fishy On Time Delay Of Postings?

I use the Akron Canton Craigslist and many times I will keep refreshing on the barter or free or auto sections and even though I'm keeping an eye on them every few minutes once in awhile things appear that say they were posted hours before but they never were, other items show up so its not that there not just able to update at the time. Are craigslist employees giving themselves or their friends the ability to get the good deals b4 any of the general public is able to?
