Locating Seller Of Expired Listing?

I have lost the contact info for an item I was looking at on Craigslist. Is there a way to contact the original poster once the listing is gone from Craigslist? The item was NOT SOLD the last time I contacted the seller, but it has exired, and there is no trace of what I am looking for. Can anyone help me find the listing or how to contact the person who had this for sale? Thanks in advance.
