Why Are My Ads Being Blocked?

I have had an account with them for a long time but can not get a hold of a live person instead they keep sending me form letters when I email them. The least they could have done was sent me an email to tell me why my ads are being blocked. I think it is all because I had a problem with a guy showing up at my house with out an appointment. He left things where they should not have been. So I told him that was rude but now all of a sudden my ads are being blocked. Not cool.

Sorry for your problems. Craigslist states:

Posts may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, CL staff, or community moderation -- for non-compliance with terms of use, site guidelines, and/or community norms.

It's possible of course that you may have violated Craigslist's terms of use; you may want to review them by following the first link above. But Craigslist will impose its penalties simply on account of too many flags--and anybody can flag your post, for any or no reason.

You may be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here.
