WHY DOES THE AD I'VE LOOKED AT IN A CERTAIN CATEGORY NOT HIGHLIGHT IN RED ANYMORE SO I WILL KNOW WHAT I HAVE LOOKED AT PREVIOUSLY

This is a strange question to be directed to a help site like Help Owl. In any event, the red highlighting never has been a function of Craigslist but of the Craigslist app you were using. You need to direct your question to the creator of the app.
