How Do I Reach A Buyer When I Get Stmp Or Something Like That In A Message.if I

when i tell the buyer i have an item and send message i get a message stmp plus something else,and message does not go through.why is this.i used to be able to send messages.how do i reply to buyer that i have an item they want?
