It appears you are not alone. I have read several complaints, here and other websites, about not being able to access Craigslist. Therefore, I believe the Website is temporarily down. I even tried to post some china for sale on the website earilier today, but like you, was unable to access the website.

Currently, the site still appears to be down. However, it is a good idea to clean out your internet cache, delete cookies and reboot to give you a fresh start to access the website when it does come back up.
