1-800-vanity Numbers

I am a business person who utilizes a 800 number for my customers. The number is 1-800 stop-pain (800-786-77246). Because the number has an extra digit like many vanity numbers do, I am hearing complaints from our customers that have Cricket wireless, that the number does not work! This is frustrating since all other wireless providers go through. We contacted the vender of our 800 number. She informed me that she has heard that Cricket uses a software platform that does not account for the extra digit, and has had several complaints! My question is does Cricket recognize this problem, and is there a fix in the near future? Many of our customers use Cricket, so it is important to know if there is a fix on the horizon?
