Cub Cadet Cc148 Cultivator

My Cultivator motor runs, but when you throttle the handle to rotate tines nothing happens. Is this the gear housing shot, or something else I'm over looking. Thanks in advance.

  • Stop the engine, remove the spark plug and clean the tines.
  • Clean the tines with a household cleaner to remove any gum buildup. Oil the tines with machine oil to prevent rust.
  • Make sure the tines are not in contact with anything before starting the unit.
  • Click here for other possible reasons and fix.

Hope that is helpful.
