The parts to repair a problem of this magnitude are generally not available. The DCC-2000 has a three-year warranty. I would call Cuisinart and see if you can get an in-warranty replacement. I have a high opinion of cuisinart and their products, but this particular coffeemaker, I do not personally recommend.

Why is my Cuisinart coffee maker leaking from the bottom?

Why Water Comes out of The Bottom of My Cuisinart Coffee Maker? If the water tank is being overfilled, then water comes out from the bottom of your coffee machine. To overcome this problem, do not fill the carafe above the maximum level.

How do I reset my Cuisinart coffee maker?

Try pressing the hot water button for 6 seconds to reset the machine. If that doesn't work, press/hold down BOTH the hot water AND rinse button at the same time. At the end of the "brew" the descale message should disappear! After descaling, turn the unit off and unplug for 30-60 minutes.
