Boston Nbc Station Has Been Off Line For A Week. When Will It Be Back?

Actually at this time, it would be difficult to predict when DirecTv and Boston DirecTv channels 7 and 56 will be back on the air. I would assume that you will see them shortly as the just reached a settlement. (1/26/12 within the last few hours)
In my area channels have remained on air while settlement negotiations are in progress but DirecTv opted to discontinue service.
Sorry, I know that this threatened the Superbowl and you might have been scrambling to find a way to watch but that's where both the networks and DirecTv stood until the end of the business day today as the network was asking for a 300% increase in fees and the other deciding to pull the plug.
You'll see the Superbowl just as you might have planned. Service should be restored soon. Just keep checking those channels.
