U.S. mail is unpredictable; I've on occasion had to wait for years for a letter. In any case, we're an independent help site, not DirecTV. You need to take up your concerns with the company's customer service, at 800-824-9081.

Since this is HelpOwl and not DirecTv, we will never receive your payment.

If you mailed your payment rather than paying online and going the paperless route, you are at the mercy of USPS. As you might have read, there are going to be some cuts at the Post Office which might result in slower service. It is now Friday the 10th of February and you either mailed your payment on Monday the 6th or Tuesday the 7th. In either case you are expecting way too much if you consider the amount of processing your payment envelope experiences before actually being opened and credited to your account.

If you're online to check your account, why not pay that way and avoid the constant checking back to see if it has arrived?
