Directv Remote Light At The Top Of The Remote Blinks When You Press A Key, But
the component does not respond.

Hi, be sure the light blinking is for the correct component (ie. TV, Aux, etc.). If it's not, press the button for the correct component, then try again.
If that's not the problem, try reprogramming your remote. You can find instructions for doing so here:
