Your question is not clear but I hope the following will help.

To record just one show in a series, the simplest way is to bring up that show in your onscreen Guide and press the Record button on your remote.

To record the entire series, bring up the show as above and press Select on your remote. Then using the onscreen menu you'll be given the opportunity to record first-run installments only, repeat installments only, or both.
