Return Of Item I Left At Days Inn?

Oct. 18the check out of Days Inn, 142 Kelly Rd, Va 24328. I left a book with private information for my personal accounts. I called Oct. 20 and the girl that answered the phone said she had it and would mail it. She did not. I called the next Saturday and the girl said she would mail it the following Monday. I called today and the book is still there and the guy said he did not know what to do about the book and would have someone call me. IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 WEEKS..HOW DO I GET THE BOOK BACK. EVERYONE SAYS IT IS THERE BUT NO ONE RETURNS IT. I ASKED IF THEY NEEDED MONEY FOR POSTAGE. WHAT KIND OF INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WORK FOR DAYS INN. We have alwaus stayed at Days inn but if this matter is not cleared up I am going to leave a review everywhere I can. Especially on facebook. This is so frustrating knowing my personal information is laying in the hotel where anyone can have access to it. If my husband has to drive from Ohio to Virginia to get this book there is going to be legal trouble. I have everyones names who said they would mail the book to me.
