Resetting?

I am wanting to change the fan speed on my unit but none of the buttons will work on the control panel and I do not have the remote anymore. What can I do

The reset button is located only in the remote control. Here are the options you can consider:

1) Try to unplug the AC cord (or if you are using circuit breaker put down the circuit breaker) and then plug ON the unit again after 5s.

2) This is my guess only, since normal electrical device can be reset by pressing altogether the up and down or all the buttons just to see if the unit will respond to reset. Even if it is not indicated in the manual ;)

2) OR Adjust the pan instead, or point the fan opening to direction depending on what you desire if you want cooler or warmer.

3) Purchase a new remote control to reset the unit if options 1 and 2 is not what you intend to do. The reset button is the pin hole below the fan button.

4) Lastly, you may need to send the unit to Service area for proper diagnosis.
